with all of the colour, variety, and excellent restaurants one expects
from such an area. |

minute or two further on, and you are at Market Square, containing
around 40 specialty shops. A few minutes further on is Bastion Square, with its shops, restaurants and an open-air market. |

you are but minutes away from the Inner Harbour, the city's gorgeous
central marina surrounded by The Empress Hotel, the Parliament Buildings,
the Royal British Columbia Museum (containing fabulous First Nations
artefacts), and the Pacific Undersea Gardens. The Inner Harbour
itself is alive with street vendors and entertainers, as well as
whalewatching and sea-plane operators, and the ferry to Seattle. |
